Gameplay and Controls

In Sinister Edge, players control a protagonist who returns to their childhood home. This is not a nostalgic journey, though, as the mansion harbors dark secrets that need to be uncovered. To do this, players must solve a variety of puzzles, all while being pursued by a supernatural entity.

The controls for Sinister Edge are straightforward and user-friendly. The left thumb is used to navigate the character around the different environments, while the right thumb is used to interact with various elements within the game. Some puzzles may require the use of additional Android device features. For instance, you may need to tilt your device slightly to rotate a sculpture within the game.

Setting and Objectives

The adventure starts with the player's character arriving outside of the mansion. The initial objective is to gain entry into the house, which involves exploring the surrounding areas such as the shed, family cemetery, and an ominous well. Once inside the mansion, the player will find that the majority of the doors are locked. The challenge then becomes locating the keys that correspond to these doors, progressing through the house while evading the spectral presence that haunts it.
